📚 Area of Circles
The Formula: A = πr²
1
Identify the radius.
If given the diameter, divide by 2 first.
d=10 → r = 10 ÷ 2 = 5
2
Square the radius
(multiply r × r).
r=5 → r² = 5 × 5 = 25
3
Multiply by π ≈ 3.14.
A = 3.14 × 25 = 78.5
Finding the Radius from Area
1
Divide area by π:
r² = A ÷ 3.14
A=78.5 → 78.5 ÷ 3.14 = 25
2
Take the square root
to find r.
r²=25 → r = √25 = 5
