How It Works

🎯 What is a System of Equations?

A system is two lines graphed together. The point of intersection is where they cross — the one point that works for both equations. Same x, same y!

From the lesson: Fries cost $2 and hamburgers cost $4. Jane's group bought 6 items for $20.

Line 1: y = -x + 6    Line 2: y = -½x + 5
The lines cross at (2, 4) → 2 fries and 4 hamburgers! 🍟🍔

📈 Graph It Mode

You'll see two equations in y = mx + b form. Start at b on the y-axis, use the slope (rise/run) to draw each line — then tap the point where they cross on the grid. Use your calculator to check!
