📚 How It Works

Writing an Inequality

Turn the words into a math sentence using >, <, ≥, or ≤.

Find the keyword: "greater than" → >   "less than" → <
more than · above · over → >

Does the number count too? "at least" → ≥   "no more than" → ≤
The lowest temperature was -5°F → t ≥ -5

Watch reversed wording: "7 is less than n" means n is bigger!
7 < n  is the same as  n > 7
